Hello, I am planning on visiting in July for the first time. I live in Florida so I am in WDW all the time. We will only be able to go 1 day to the park. Since some things are the same as in FL will it be possible to do both parks in 1 day?

    Hello Joana!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week. While I prefer to at least have 2 full days at Disneyland Resort, it is possible to experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in the same day.

Starting in Disneyland Park, some attractions you know and love at Walt Disney World are similar but just slightly better in my opinion. Pirates of the Caribbean has a bigger drop during the ride at Disneyland Park and Peter’s Pan Flight is slightly different as well. Space Mountain is temporarily Hyperspace Mountain showing off part of Disneyland Park’s Season of the Force with a Star Wars theme. The Paint the Night Parade is spectacular and a fun new twist to the Electric Parade.

Over in Disney California Adventure my first stop is always Cars Land! Something Walt Disney World doesn’t yet have. Radiator Springs Racers is what we get our FASTPASSes for bright and early so we can avoid some of the queue. I also am a fan of California Screamin’ over on Paradise Pier. You can end the night watching either World of Color in this park, or hop back over to Disneyland Park for Fireworks over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. I prefer World of Color if you haven’t experienced that before.

Obviously you will need to add the Parkhopper to your admission tickets and that is only a slightly higher fee. It’s less than buying a 2 day, 1 Park Per Day Ticket. I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
