Hi there, Courtney! Welcome back to
planDisney, and thanks for bringing this thoughtful question to us. For those of us who love holidays and Disney, being at
Walt Disney World on Thanksgiving is a dream. Still, there are always those traditions we keep from previous years that hold an important place in our hearts. Maybe it’s a dish that your grandmother served at Thanksgiving, or watching your dad carve the turkey at the family dinner. Whatever it may be, I love the idea of searching for a magical Disney experience, with touches of holiday nostalgia sprinkled in.
Hollywood and Vine’s fun atmosphere and delicious buffet options are always a treat. The holiday celebrations begin on November 4th with
Holiday Dine, hosted by the fabulous Minnie Mouse. The
menu features delectable classic entrees like oven-roasted herbed chicken, carved beef tenderloin, seared salmon, spice-rubbed pork loin, and more. Unfortunately, there is no way to confirm holiday additions specifically offered for Thanksgiving Day. I know that is a challenge when you’re trying to ensure a special holiday meal.
The theming for Hollywood and Vine transitions to Christmas right after Halloween, so yes, the decorations will be more geared toward Christmas than Fall. The holidays at the parks will be magical in so many ways, and I’m sure it will be an amazing trip. I wish there were more details to share, but sometimes we have to wait and see what Disney has in store.
Courtney, I hope your plans come together and your holiday hopes are realized. Enjoy the time with the loved ones you travel with, and it’ll be a magical and memorable holiday for sure.
Happy Holidays!
Corey
