Hiya Marie-France,
Welcome back to planDisney! It is so exciting to hear you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World during the holidays. Even though there is no bad time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, the holiday season is my favorite. I love the intricate and impressive gingerbread displays (my favorite being the house at Grand Floridian, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year). I also am left in awe at the incredible towering Christmas trees.
As soon as the clock strikes midnight on the final
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The pumpkins disappear, and Imagineers get to work transforming the parks for the holidays, including the first
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and
Jollywood Nights events. While the official schedule for those dates hasn’t been released, we generally see some decorations up in early November. The rest of the decorations should be up by the first after-hours party event.
I hope this was helpful, Marie-France. Before I let you go, be sure to keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for when the dates of when Jollywood Nights will be this year. That will give you an idea of whether or not the holiday decorations will be up during your trip. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning!
