Bonjour!
Hi Debra! Thank you for stopping by with your question today about your big birthday celebration at
Disneyland Paris! It looks like you will be staying in style in the Compass Club at
Disney Newport Bay Club. This beautiful 4-star resort sits on the shores of Lake Disney. My family often chooses to stay at Newport Bay because we love the nautical theming with Disney touches around every corner. I visited the hotel last year to help film a video for Disney Parks YouTube channel, which was so much fun! I have linked it
here for you to check out.
As your visit is planned for 2027, schedules have not yet been confirmed that far in advance. The great thing about Compass Club, though, is that when you arrive, you will enjoy an exclusive check-in area where the Cast Members will walk you through all the details and answer any questions about your stay. In the meantime, let’s take a look at what a Compass Club stay typically includes today.
Character experiences are one of my favourite parts of staying at a
Disney Hotel. At Newport Bay Club, you can usually meet Mickey and friends from around 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and again from 6:30pm until just after 8:00pm in the lobby near the Compass Club check-in area. The queues are often much shorter than in the Disney Parks, and they wear their fun seaside-inspired outfits, which makes it feel extra special. As a Compass Club Guest, you will also have access to the private lounge, where you can enjoy soft drinks throughout the day and complimentary tea time treats served between 4:00pm and 5:30pm.
Another great perk is breakfast in the Compass Club lounge each morning of your stay. Breakfast is not available in the lounge on your arrival day, but you are welcome to use the main buffet restaurants if you wish. No reservation is required, and breakfast is served until 11:00am, which can be super helpful if you have an early flight!
Where better to celebrate a birthday than in a Disney Park? Picking up a complimentary birthday button is such a fun way to mark the occasion and means Cast Members and fellow Guests can join in your celebration. You can usually collect one from City Hall in Disneyland Park or from Studio Services in
Disney Adventure World. It is always a good idea to have some form of ID with you, just in case you are asked to confirm your birth date.
I hope this helps you plan your vacation celebration, Debra! If you have any further questions or would like to confirm the hotel schedules closer to your visit, please do stop by planDisney again.
Have a magical day!
Matt
