Planning on visiting end of April/beginning of May 2012 with 2 adults, girl, 11 and boy, 6. Any suggestions for itinerary for week stay. Planning on staying at one of the resorts. Leaning to a value resort. BTW 1st time visiting, appreciate any suggestions

Hi Craig! I am excited that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World soon! Spring is a wonderful time visit the parks.  The Value resorts are super fun to stay at with Pop Century Resort being my favorite.  The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is happening at that time so you'll be able to see beautiful gardens and over 75 Disney character topiaries throughout the park.  I would suggest making time to visit each of the four parks and then leave some days to spend at your resort or Downtown Disney. It can be overwhelming and stressful to try to see everything.  Just relax and enjoy this magical experience with your children! I would suggest arranging a character meal, such as Cinderella's Royal Table or the Crystal Palace to meet Pooh and friends at the Magic Kingdom.  You can make dining reservations 180 days prior to your stay.  The park hours are updated regularly and if you stay on property, you will be able to enjoy extra magic hours- times in the park just for guests who stay at on Disney property.  At EPCOT, make sure you visit Living with the  Land and the Seas with Nemo and Friends.  Your children will love to see Turtle Talk with Crush.  Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place to relax and has hidden adventures around every corner.  I wish you the most magical vacation!
