I am planning on visiting in early December 2026, how soon can I book a place to stay?

    Hiya Dwayne,

Welcome to planDisney! In my opinion, it is never too early to start planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, especially during the holiday season. The incredible decorations and events always make the Most Magical Place on Earth even more enchanting, so I always like to visit in December to experience it.

I have my trip planned for this year, but I've also been trying to get 2026 on the calendar. Unfortunately, we have not yet heard when the November and December 2026 dates will be released, but we can look at last year's release to provide some clues. Although there are no guarantees, in the previous year, we saw the dates released in mid-September, so with that in mind, we may see a similar timeline this year. Check back on the website and Disney Parks Blog in the next few weeks to see if an announcement is made or the dates materialize for booking.

I hope this was helpful, Dwayne, and even more so that the dates are available for reservations soon. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
