    We are planning on visiting DW at the end of November and I was wondering if the water parks will be opened? Also, I heard that the back stage tour, which shows you the underground areas of Magic Kingdom is really interesting. How do I book this tour.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to answer your great question today!

    The Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks are open year-round, except during times of refurbishment. Normally, only one water park closes for refurbishments while the other remains open. Looking at this year’s Park Hours & Calendars, it looks like Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed for refurbishments from October 23-December 24. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will remain open during this time which means that you can enjoy Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park during your late November vacation.

    The tour you are referring to is Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. By booking this tour you will gain access to the underground “Utilidor” tunnels. You will also discover little-known facts, uncover hidden secrets and enjoy a delicious lunch! In order to book this tour you need to dial (407) WDW-TOUR or (407) 939-8687. Please keep in mind that Guests must be 16 years of age or older in order to be a part of this tour. If you are traveling with children, there are other options for you. A friendly Cast Member can give you more information and other options when you call.
