Hello, we are planning on visiting 1/21-1/25, but I don’t see any fireworks shows listed for any days this week. Will there be no shows, parades or fireworks, or has a schedule just not been release? Thanks! Jen

    Hi ya, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! Entertainment is a huge part of what makes the Disneyland Resort such a magical destination. From atmosphere entertainment to nighttime spectaculars, the performers and music tell such beautiful stories!

I took a look at the Hours and Events Calendar today since it's often updated, and I do have a little bit of good news for you! It was just announced last week that Mickey's Mix Magic will be returning in January and I see it on the calendar for some days during your visit. It's a really fun, energetic show featuring my favorite pal, Mickey!

I can also see some shows on the schedule, like Storytelling at Royal Theater (one of my favorites, so clever and funny!) and Citizens of Buena Vista Street. It's also possible that other entertainment will be added to the calendar as your dates get closer. Keep your eyes open!

One thing you should make sure to do is visit Disneyland Park and enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday on the day you arrive. January 21, 2024 is the last day to catch Jack Skellington and his frightful friends before they close up for the season! I would visit him early in the day since the last day of this special attraction can draw some scream-worthy wait times.

Jennifer, while there isn't as much entertainment going on, I love visiting the Disneyland Resort right after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Things just feel a little more relaxed...maybe because the parks aren't open as late during the week so I get more sleep! It's the perfect time to explore the details of the parks, enjoy a new snack, and take a deep breath after the craziness of the holidays. I hope you'll find plenty of magic to keep you busy at the parks!

    Keep moving forward!
