I am planning on visiting disneyland resort the first week of november. I was wondering if the christmas decorations will be up already (mostly the lights). I am mostly concerned about the decor, not so much the events and characters.

Hi  Kehau! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

The most wonderful time of the year is such a great time to vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth! When the clock strikes midnight on Halloween, the pumpkins and fall décor begin to disappear. While it doesn't happen instantly, the holiday décor begins to appear over the following days and will be completely in place for the arrival of the Holidays on November 14th. While I can't promise the Disneyland Resort will be fully decked for the Holidays during the dates of your visit, I think you will be able to see the start of the festive decorations. If your dates are flexible, you might consider shifting your visit to be closer to the beginning of the Holidays.

As you're planning, be sure to check out the Holidays Guide from Disney Parks Blog. It's filled with holly jolly information about all of the things offered during this special time of the year. I love seeing the lights too, and I hope you can enjoy them during your vacation.

If you have more questions before you arrive, please feel free to send them to us at planDisney. We can't wait for you to visit, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
