Hi, we're planning on visiting Disneyland in March and I was wondering if I need to make a reservation to bowl at Splitsville or do I just make reservations for a table? Ideally we would like to bowl while we eat. Also how far out should I reserve it?

    Hi there, Aleta!

Welcome to planDisney! Reservations at the Disneyland Resort are always a good idea, so this is a totally great question. Let's see if we can find a way to make sure your plans roll along smoothly, shall we?

It's a little bit tricky, but I think I've rolled a strike here: there are actually two pages on the Disneyland Resort website for Splitsville Luxury Lanes™ and it's important to get the right one if you want to bowl! If you visit the Splitsville Luxury Lanes™ – Bowling page you'll see a description of the bowling alley with a hyperlink at the bottom that says "Learn more and reserve a lane" that will take you to the Splitsville official website. From there, you can make priority bowling reservations and learn the details about seating arrangements, ordering food, and more. It looks like all bowling lanes have the option to add in dining, so you should be good to go! The Splitsville reservation calendar looks like it opens dates about a month in advance. There is also a phone number on the reservations page so you can contact them directly if you have more questions!

After you've had some fun bowling, maybe you'll be shopping your way through the Downtown Disney District? My very favorite place to wander is the WonderGround Gallery! They have beautiful Disney-themed art from a variety of creators and there's always something fun and new to see. If you'll be traveling into Disneyland Park after your game then the Disneyland Monorail is just a short walk away!

Aleta, I hope you are a much better bowler than I am! Have so much fun exploring the Downtown Disney District and let me know if you have other questions about your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

    Keep moving forward!
