We're planning on visiting Disneyland on 08/29-08/31/18. When I look online at the calendar to see the dates/times for fireworks, Fantasmic, Paint the Night Parade, these dates are greyed out. What does that mean? Are they not happening those nights?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley! Your trip to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it. How exciting!

The entertainment schedule is usually populated about 30-45 days in advance. In the next few days, all of your travel dates should appear on the calendar with operating hours and show times for certain entertainment options. For instance, today the calendar goes as far as August 29th and I can see that Disneyland Park will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Disney California Adventure Park will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. As the days and weeks progress, you will notice more and more times for parades, shows, and fireworks start to fill in for your trip. So, fear not! Paint the Night, Fantasmic!, and the Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular should take place during your trip.

Another thing to look into, if you haven’t already, are dining reservations. Table service restaurants at the parks, Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort Hotels can fill up rather quickly so making advance dining reservations is key to getting a table. This is especially true for any character dining experiences. You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance online, using the Disneyland app, or by calling (714) 781-3463.

I hope this helps! Have a fabulous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
