December is a fantastic time to visit the
Disneyland Resort! My family and I love visiting
during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The beautiful holiday décor throughout
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park gives us goosebumps every time, and many magical experiences are set to return for 2022!
Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park is a favorite of ours as it gives everyone a chance to truly embrace diverse cultures through food and entertainment!
But back to your question, the
Disneyland Resort Calendar is updated up to 6 weeks out, so I recommend you keep an eye on the calendar as the December 2022 schedule becomes available. The December 2022 schedule will have the park hours and fireworks schedule!
Back in 2021, the Disneyland Resort had a special after-hours event on select nights during November and December called
Disney Merriest Nites. This was a separately ticketed holiday event and was extremely popular, with tickets selling out fairly quickly. There have been no announcements yet for 2022, but with the success of this event in 2021, I wouldn't be surprised if they launched it again in 2022!
As you begin to plan your magical vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth, just a couple of reminders.
Theme park reservations can be booked up to 120 days in advance, and
dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance. So be sure to mark those dates on your calendar!
