Hi, Erin! How exciting that you have a trip to the Disneyland Resort coming up very soon!
If you know about Rider Switch and Baby Care Centers, then you are already two steps ahead! I would also point out that you can take your son on any
attraction without a height requirement. You can also bring along your stroller, or
rent one at the parks. I love using a stroller with my little one because it not only provides a quick way to transport her around the parks, but also offers space to store all the things my child might need and a few things of my own, like water bottles. You can also make use of a baby carrier at the parks. Some attractions will allow you to keep your baby in the carrier while riding, just ask a Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction.
One attraction that surprised me the first time I took my young daughter to the Disney Parks, was the
Enchanted Tiki Room. We visited the attraction a few times and it either put her right to sleep or she was completely mesmerized by the singing tropical birds. So either way, this attraction was a big winner in my book!
Finally, if you are looking for a truly unique and precious souvenir, stop by the
Silhouette Studio on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and have an artist create a silhouette of your son or the whole family. They are done really quickly - so even wiggly babies aren't a problem - and you will have a personalized treasure to take home.
See ya real soon!
