Hello, Josh!
I’m thrilled to hear your first visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works. You’re going to love the magic of exploring Walt Disney’s original theme park in California!
Yes, you can upgrade your 1 Park Per Day Tickets to Park Hopper Tickets before the last valid day of your theme park tickets by visiting a Main Entrance Ticket Booth at the Disneyland Resort. However, please keep in mind that you'll be responsible for paying the difference between the
tickets you already purchased and the price of the upgraded 3-day tickets. The Park Hopper upgrade cost will be added to every day of the whole multi-day ticket, not just the final day when you plan to use it. I typically do recommend opting for Park Hopper Tickets if possible so you have access to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park throughout the day, with the privilege of moving back and forth between the two adjacent theme parks as you wish. The main entrances of the parks face each other and are just a couple minutes apart on foot!
For a unique, behind-the-scenes look at Disneyland Park, I recommend the
Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps Guided Tour. You’ll learn what inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland Park and experience classic attractions before enjoying a yummy meal, which is included in the cost of the tour. Guests also get a peek at a location not accessible to most Guests, such as Walt Disney’s private second floor apartment on Main Street, U.S.A.! You may book a guided tour 30 days prior to your visit by calling (714) 781-8687.
I hope this helps, Josh, and that your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is all you’ve been dreaming! Please send more questions as your vacation draws near.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
