Greetings, Rachael!
Thanks for bringing a question to us here at
planDisney. Your visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you can say “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!” I hope you’re looking forward to all the magic that awaits you.
I just took a peek at the
Hours & Events Calendar, and it looks like
Disneyland Park is indeed scheduled to close at 7:00 p.m. on November 13. I don't see any further details on
Disneyland.com or the
Disney Parks Blog that would explain the reason for this. However, the early closure could be due to any number of things, including a private event, filming for a holiday television special or parade, or a corporate gathering. It’s not likely that a regular
fireworks display will occur before the park closes for the day as these shows typically begin between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m.
I know that having to leave the park earlier than you planned might be less-than-magical news, but if you have the
Park Hopper option added to your
theme park ticket, you will be welcome to head over to
Disney California Adventure Park after Disneyland Park closes. It will remain open until the regularly-scheduled closing time of 9:00 p.m. that evening. If you don’t have plans to park hop, you can explore the
Downtown Disney District or even head over to one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels to shop, enjoy a meal, or just take in the magical ambiance.
I hope this information helps, Rachael, and that your vacation is pixie-dusted to perfection! Please don’t hesitate to
write back with more questions as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
