We are planning on visiting Disney World the week of Thanksgiving? Does anyone know if The Tusker House at Animal Kingdom offers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner?

    Hi Melissa,

Spending the Thanksgiving holiday with your family at the Walt Disney World Resort will be a truly magical experience. The theme parks and resorts will be beautifully decorated for the holidays with festive trees, wreaths, garland, ribbons and more seasonal lights that you've ever seen in your entire life!

In past years, many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants have offered special holiday meals for Thanksgiving Day. The holiday feast has typically included all the traditional items found on any Thanksgiving Day table – turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The Tusker House Restaurant has been one of the locations offering a regular dinner buffet, augmented with the items previously mentioned. As of today, we don't yet have any information about which restaurants will be offering the special holiday feast menu on November 24, 2016. I would recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog for any future announcements about special holiday dining on that festive day.

Did you Know? The Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park offers a traditional family-style Thanksgiving Dinner every day of the year. The stately New England colonial-style inn serves the Pilgrim’s Feast, a heaping helping of Roast Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, Herb Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables. YUM!

Wishing your family a most unforgettable Thanksgiving celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort!
