Hi, we are planning on visiting Disney World in May of 2013. If we do the waterparks and more option, do we also need the park hopper, if we plan on visiting one of the theme parks on the same day?

    Hi Cynthia,

Magic Your Way tickets with all of their add-ons can seem confusing until you've actually used them.  Hopefully, I can clarify and help answer your question.  If your plan is to visit a water park during the day and then visit one of the main parks (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) in the evening, you won't need a Park Hopper Pass.  You can do that with a basic Magic Your Way Pass as long as you've added the Water Park Fun & More Option.  You only need the Park Hopper option if you plan on visiting two major parks on the same day.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
