We're planning on visiting Disney World in May and my daughter wants to stay in The Lion King resort. There's only 3 of us and it looks like Lion King only has suites and not standard rooms. Can anyone confirm?

    Hello, Claudia,

Yes, you are correct that the Lion King section has only family suites; the Little Mermaid section is the area with standard rooms.  If it helps a tiny bit, you'll walk through and enjoy the theming of the Lion King area to get to the Little Mermaid rooms.

Just a thought, but Walt Disney World does have Special Offers throughout the year.  Maybe there would be one for your visit in May that would make the family suites a possibility.  It may be worth checking the page every so often.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again as you continue to plan your trip.
