Hello Diane! Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Dining! Some words just go together so amazingly well! My wife and I always take food options into consideration when choosing our hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection. We almost always come back to our favorite...
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! I’ll also give an honorable mention to
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort!
But let’s start with your little Mouseketeer in mind! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has a great splash/water play area themed after Alice in Wonderland! This includes a huge Mad Hatter's hat that dumps a bucket...excuse me...hat full of water on the excited kids below! My kids loved this! Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has what my kids consider to be the greatest pool area in the entire Walt Disney World Resort. It’s no exaggeration that this resort feels like it has its own “water park.” My kids, who are now a little older, still talk about how much they love that pool!
Stormalong Bay is a great aquatic area for big kids and little ones too!
OK, the food! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has amazing food everywhere you look!
Narcoossee’s sits along at the water’s edge of the resort! This is a favorite in our family for a delicious, relaxing, sit-down meal! Grand Floridian Cafe is another family favorite for great food and a slightly faster meal. You’ll also need to check out the
Enchanted Rose! As the name implies, this lounge is themed after Beauty and the Beast! Finally, my favorite for an early morning breakfast or a late-night snack (OK...dinner part two) is Gasparilla Island Grill!
Over at Disney’s Yacht Club,
Ale and Compass Restaurant, along with
Cape May Cafe are two places where the food just keeps you coming back! This could be because of my love of seafood! These are two of the best restaurants for seafood in the entire Walt Disney World Resort!
Hakuna Matata! Jonathan
