We are planning on visiting Disney parks but not staying on property this time. Can we still get magic bands?

Hello Wendy and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about your families plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I can just imagine how excited you must be feeling about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort as I know there's simply nothing better than planning a return visit to the magic - even if you happen not to be staying on Disney property this time around.
Although complimentary MagicBands are currently only provided to those Guests who are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or as part of the Annual Passholder Program, I am delighted to share that all Guests are welcome to purchase MagicBands upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort or via Shop Disney Parks!  MagicBands are available at select Disney Merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort and come in an array of many different colours and designs all of which can be linked to My Disney Experience.
Plus it may be useful to know that as long as they're in good working order MagicBands from previous trips can be re-used again and again for repeat vacations!
    Have a great Disney day.
