Hello, we are planning on visiting Disney late October. We have family in Orlando... my question is... if they are with us could they purchase tickets for us while we are there? If yes, do they need to be with us both days we want to go ? Thank you.

    Hi, Jay!

Your friends are so lucky living so close to the House of Mouse! I cannot think of better neighbors than Mickey and Minnie.

Florida Resident tickets are for the exclusive purchase and use by the residents. They cannot purchase the discounted tickets for friends or family living out of state. Each adult guest using a Florida Resident ticket must present a valid Florida ID/proof of residency when entering the park.

Hopefully during your visit to Walt Disney World your friends will be able to join you for some magical fun. Perhaps you can book a fun meal that you can all enjoy together such as a character buffet at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or wonderful feast at Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Plan ahead by making Dining Reservations online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Enjoy your visit with your friends and with Mickey Mouse!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
