Hi Rob!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's BoardWalk is a lovely place at which to end your day, with great entertainment and a good choice of restaurants, it really does come alive at night, and is a very easy walk from the International Gateway entrance at Epcot's World Showcase. It is advised that parking is limited at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn for Guests who are visiting the BoardWalk, and valet parking might be your only option. Self-parking may be available, but is not guaranteed. Parking at the Disney Resort hotels is generally for guests staying at the Resort hotel, or for guests with dining reservations - and this is typically limited to three hours. If you are intending to spend a few hours at
Epcot before the fireworks, I would suggest you park in the Epcot parking lot, walk to the BoardWalk after the fireworks, then perhaps take a taxi cab back to the Epcot parking lot afterwards. This would be a fairly inexpensive fare as it is so close - but please take note of the parking lot closing times when you arrive to ensure you have enough time. Another way around this is if you combine a visit to
Disney Springs on the same day, as parking is complimentary to all guests, and you can then take a bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Disney Springs is open to 12.00 midnight, and select restaurants and shops will be open until 2.00am, so the parking lots will be open until those times, giving you plenty of time to get back to your car if you take a bus from Disney's BoardWalk Inn back to Disney Springs (the
bus service runs until 1.00am, and please allow around 60-90 minutes for this journey). Using a car such as Lyft or Uber back to Disney Springs might be the quickest option. Buses run a one-way service from the theme parks to Disney Springs from 4.00pm until two hours after park closing. I hope one of these suggestions may work for you!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
