    We are planning on visiting in Dec ' 12, myself, husband, and 9yr old daughter. We are concerned if that is the right time of year to visit to the cold weather? We were hoping to swim, ride water rides, so forth. We are staying at the Polynesian Resort?

    Hi Nicole - The Polynesian is a wonderful option - you'll definitely love it.

    December can be a tricky time to accurately predict how the weather will be.  I've been there multiple times in December and have generally found it to be a bit chilly.  The average high temperatures are in the low 70s, and it's cooler at night and in the mornings.  I probably wouldn't swim in those temps, although the pools are heated.

    It does vary though, so you may luck out with temps in the 80s!
