Hi Angie,
My family considers the Animal Kingdom an all day park. There is so much to see and do there. In talking with other people, I've found that many people rush in to ride the few "big rides" and then leave claiming they've "seen it all". However, since you traveling with a preschooler who won't be tall enough for several of the thrill rides, that definitely eliminates some of the "must-do" atrractions from your list.
When my kids were 3, the Animal Kingdom Park was easily their favorite. I'd give yourself at least 4-5 hours there. You'll want to head straight back to the
Kilimanjaro Safari ride first thing. The animals are most active in the morning, so it's best to ride it then. While in that area, walk the
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail for the chance to to see hippo, gorilla and more up close. Little ones love Rafiki's Planet Watch. You'll ride the Wildlife Express Train over there, enjoy the Affection Section (petting zoo), Habitat Habit, Conservation Station and more. In addition, you can often visit with characters over there. Once in Asia, take a stroll through the
Maharajah Jungle Trek to see tigers, komodo dragon and much more. The Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical are both great shows to watch. Little ones also enjoy spending time in
The Boneyard. This is a great play area in Dinoland. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you enter the park for specific character Meet and Greet times and locations in case you want photos with favorites.
Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,
Kaylene
