We are planning to visit 11/13-11/19/24 at wilderness lodge. Will the Christmas’s tree be up by then? Thank you

Hey howdy hey, Melissa, and welcome to planDisney! If you're looking forward to a Christmastime vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, you have a friend in me! My planDisney pals and I are here and always happy to answer your vacation planning questions!

Melissa, you must be so excited to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth later this year. If you've ever been to Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas season, you know that Disney doesn't hold back when it comes to the holidays. I've heard that Walt Disney himself loved Christmas, so it feels only natural that Walt Disney World Resort would go all out!

My family recently stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the first time and it was just as amazing as everyone said it would be. The grandeur of the lobby and the handsome decor made us feel like real explorers. We loved heading out to the pool area to watch the geyser erupting and enjoying a nightcap by the water's edge during the Happily Ever After Fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant. I can only imagine how much more special it would all feel during the Christmas season, fully decorated with the larger-than-life Christmas tree in the center of the lobby and joyful Christmas music all around.

We don't know for sure when Christmas trees will arrive in the lobbies of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, but they typically appear in mid-November. I will wish upon a star that you get to experience the joy of seeing the Christmas tree at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for exciting updates about the holiday season, including dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and details for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. You'll be happy to hear that many of the Disney Theme Parks will be decorated for the holidays during your visit!

Melissa, please stop back by planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have as you continue to count down to your visit!

    See you real soon!
