Walt Disney World Halloween

We are planning a visit to WDW for the Wine and Dine 1/2 Marathon and thought we would go to the MNSSHP while we are there. Do I also need an admission ticket along with the ticket to the party? Any regular food or just candy at the party?

Hey there, Joan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm always fascinated with runners and those who participate in marathons! Congratulations Joan on all your success with preparing for this adventure at Walt Disney World.

In the past, guests who have tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party have been given access to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm the day of the party, even though the party doesn't officially begin until 7pm. This early access does not require an additional theme park. However, if you would like to enjoy the Magic Kingdom all day, the day of the party you will need a theme park ticket. During Mickey's Not So scary Halloween Party FastPass+ is not available but there's no need for those anyway, as the crowds are must lower than a normal park day. Mickey only allows so many guests at the party each time it's held.

Also during the party, dining locations will be open for you to purchase food. The candy you'll receive is complimentary, however. Here's a list of the dining locations at the Magic Kingdom that were open during the party last year. Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest and the Crystal Palace were open last year but requires an Advanced Dining Reservation. Quick Service dining locations include Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn Cafe, and Columbia Harbour House which do not require reservations.

Joan, have a magical time at Walt Disney World! If you more party or marathon questions, please stop by and visit with us again soon.
