I am planning to visit WDW the third week of August. My sons 6th birthday is the first week of September, but we can't miss school. Do you know if Disney will acknowlede his birthday early?

Hello, Amanda! Welcome to the Moms Panel! Disney certainly understands that guests may not be able to visit during special events in their lives. However, you are still more than welcome to celebrate your child's birthday. Make sure to stop by Guest Services at any of our parks and ask for a birthday button. Your child will be thrilled when Cast Members acknowledge his special day. If your are planning on dining with us, let your Cast Member know that you are celebrating a birthday. I would also like to be the first to say "Happy Birthday"! Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel. Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up. We are always ready to help our guests plan the vacation of a lifetime. May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled many new and MAGICAL memories! ~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
