We are planning to visit WDW in November & currently have reservations at the Riviera Resort. I am concerned about this as it appears they do not accept the dining plan? Does this mean we can't use our refillable mugs or get snacks there?

    Hi, Kathy!

Thanks so much for sending your question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's a great one!

Disney Dining Plans run on an annual basis, sometimes with slight changes from one year to the next. Over the years, I've noticed many dining locations are added throughout the month of January, most likely as details are finalized. Because the gorgeous Disney's Riviera Resort was added to the collection of Walt Disney World Resort hotels in late 2019, it may take a little longer for those dining locations to be added to the list of restaurants that participate in Disney Dining Plans. For example, if you check Topolino's Terrace--Flavors of the Riviera, it is now listed as participating in some Dining Plans. For 2020, 1 Dining Plan entitlement will be needed for use at breakfast (with Mickey & Friends!), and 2 Entitlements will be needed for dinner. In general, if some dining locations are not listed as participating in a particular Dining Plan as of early January, check back for updates (and keep your dining reservations, just in case!)

Regarding your refillable drink mugs, these are indeed refillable "at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel", Disney's Riviera Resort included.

To see which snacks qualify for purchase using a snack entitlement throughout Walt Disney World Resort, just look for that DDP purple and white symbol on the menu or sign posted at each snack item. There are so many delicious ways to spend those snack credits!

As you plan your upcoming magical stay at Disney's Riviera Resort, send us your questions, Kathy. We love to help!
