Hello Ashley! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
When we visited the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks with my (then) 1-year old son, I was sure to bring everything with me to avoid any of the unavoidable accidents and needs that may arise with an infant. My "Dad-pack" consisted of diapers, wipes, a first-aid kit, snacks, water bottles, sippy cups, formula doled out into individual servings, a change of clothes, a spray fan, sunscreen, an alternate hat, pacifiers and a change of shoes. That wasn't even including the extra fun stuff like Disney Trading Pins, autograph books and more.
Walt Disney World Resort is
very permissive in what it allows you to bring into the parks. There are restricted items, but you are welcome to bring many of the things you need to make your little Mouseketeers experience in the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks enjoyable.
You will be required to go through a security clearance gate and your bag will be checked by security, however, barring any of the excluded items not permitted in the Theme Parks, you should be enjoying the Theme Park in no time.
If you require a quiet place to feed or rest with your child, be sure to visit the
Baby Care Centers located in each of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. Not only are they a quiet reprieve for a much needed rest and feed, they also have many amenities for sale if you find yourself running low.
It's so exciting that your little ones will soon be experiencing all of the
Endless Magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Whenever I answer a question like yours, I proudly remember the first visit with my children and their proud papa in tow.
Have a Magical Vacation!
~Todd
