We are planning to visit WDW in May and have the DDP. I was wondering what the price difference is if we upgrade to the deluxe dining plan. Can someone help us with this?

    Hi Marci,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  My family and I absolutely love dining at Walt Disney World Resort and are fans of the Deluxe Dining Plan.  I find it is a great option for families who are planning several Table-Service Meals a day, or if you would like to enjoy some of the fabulous Signature Dining options offered at Walt Disney World Resort.  It is also a way for my husband to enjoy some of the delicious appetizers and desserts we would typically skip, so it is a special treat for us while visiting Walt Disney World Resort!

I like the unofficial site The Disney Food Blog as it provides detailed information about current pricing for all of the Disney Dining Plans.  With my calculations, to upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan will cost around $45.00 per night for guests 10 & older and $10.00 per night for guests 9 & under.  As always, prices are subject to change and are slightly different during peak seasons.

I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation Marci.  Please let me know if you have any other questions leading up to your trip, I would be happy to help!
