Planning to visit WDW 5/7-11th with my 2 girls (5, 2 1/2) staying the Polynesian. I hear it is important to get to the MK early to beat the crowds. Is having a quick service meal the best to do for breakfast most days (where do you do that at the Polyn)?

Hello Marni! Eating a quick-service breakfast is a great idea in order to maximize your park time early in the day.

If you would like to eat breakfast at your resort, give Captain Cook's a try. It is a quick service location that starts serving breakfast as early as 6:30 am. They offer the usual breakfast foods like waffles, eggs and bacon and pastries. However, they also offer the amazing Tonga Toast which is banana stuffed french toast covered with cinnamon sugar. Yum!

Another thing you may like to try is to book a character breakfast in the Magic Kingdom before the park opens one day. If you get an early reservation, you could be finishing up your meal by the time the park gates open. The added bonus is that you will get to walk down Main Street USA without a big crowd of people and you can get some really nice photos of your family!

The Crystal Palace offers a breakfast buffet with characters like Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger.

With two girls, you may enjoy the Once Upon a Time Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. Your daughters will get a photo with Cinderella (included in the price of the meal), and will also get to meet some more princesses while dining.

    Have a great time!
