I am planning to visit WDW for my 27th birthday! I plan to celebrate like a kid throughout several parks (visiting characters, riding my favorite rides, etc.). What are some ideas for celebrating as an adult with Disney? Best kept secrets are appreciated!

Hello Devin. Wow that sounds so exciting! I will never be too old for character meet and greets and Walt Disney World attractions. I have been to Walt Disney World twice already in the past year for an adult Disney trip, and I will be going tomorrow to see some of my fellow Moms Panelists for an adults-only trip. I think the key to a successful adult trip is to experience the things that you want to do. If you want to ride its a small world 13 times in a row, then go ahead and do that. If you want to gorge yourself on Mickey Premium Bars and Main Street U.S.A popcorn, then do it! Its all about you and what you want.

With that being said, I can tell you of some adult places and things to do that you might enjoy.

*Tambu Lounge- On my last adult Disney trip I stopped and indulged in some chicken coriander wings from the Tambu Lounge and had the famous Lapu Lapu drink. Even though I was alone, I had so much fun taking a break and enjoying the surroundings of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

*Trader Sam's Grog Grotto- This is one of the newest bars on Walt Disney World Property and it looks so awesome on the inside. The atmosphere is high energy, and when you order certain drinks some really cool things happen. I won't spoil the surprise, so go check it out for yourself!

*La Cava Del Tequila- This is a Mom's Panel favorite. Located in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot, this bar serves up some of the highest quality tequila on property. You can also start at La Cava Del Tequila on an Epcot 'Drink Around The World' journey. Visit each country's pavilion for a drink and make your way 'around the world.'

I also think that doing a monorail resort bar crawl would be a fun thing to do. Just hop on the monorail and order a drink from each Resort Lounge. If alcohol is not your thing, you can do a dessert crawl!

Im running out of space, but if you need anything else please let us know. Have a magical birthday, Devin!
