I love that you are going to get a little Disney next month, but you've got a more substantial visit to look forward to next spring! Those Mickey-shaped treats smothered in powdered sugar are on my mind more times than I care to admit. They can be found at
Scat Cat's Club - Cafe in
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, as well as
Golden Oak Outpost in
Magic Kingdom Park. If you don't have a theme park ticket, you are limited to the Port Orleans option. During spooky season, I hear they offer Ghoulish Delight beignets, but I haven't had the chance to try them yet. I'll make it a priority for my upcoming trip this fall!
You can drive to the resort, where you'll be met by a Security Cast member at the gate. Parking is limited, so they will let you know if it is available that day for day guests looking to grab a bite to eat.
If you've got some extra time, I recommend you spend it at
Disney Springs. It's my favorite place to be when I'm not in the theme parks. You can grab a quick lunch at
D-Luxe Burger and find some souvenirs at
Marketplace Co-Op. There is so much to see and do here! I love to grab a seasonal beverage from
Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company and walk around, taking in the magic.
