Hello ! We are planning to visit Wall Disney World with our 3 kids. Our son Diego (7 years old) has Down Syndrome and can hardly walk. Could we expect to have problems in therms of mobility?

    Hello Carmen,
I feel sure you won't encounter many difficulties in overcoming Diego's mobility issues whilst enjoying your families magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort and to assist in your planning you may find this Guests with Disabilities link to be extra useful.
As I'm unsure if you'll be bringing along with you Diego's own wheelchair or stroller from home I'd like to reassure you that both Wheelchair Rentals and Stroller Rentals are available for Guests to rent throughout Disney property.
You may also find the Disability Access Service (DAS) Card could work well for your families needs; the DAS card is designed for Guests who aren't able to wait in a conventional queue environment due to a disability.  Disability Access Service cards are issued by Guest Relations which are located inside the main entrance of each Disney Theme Park.
As a Mum of little ones I know in the past I've been glad to have used the Baby Care Centres found in each Disney Theme Park; they could provide a peaceful haven for your family too!
    Have a great Disney day.
