    We are planning a visit from the UK from the 17th until 31st October and it is our sons 10th birthday on the 27th October. Do I need to buy a child or adult ticket for him?

    How exciting that you'll be in town for the Halloween season! That's the time of year when all the Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize. I trust you'll have a spooktacular time.

    My wife and I love all the Halloween décor around the theme parks during the month of October. Make sure you stop by Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs for a delicious caramel apple!

    Jennifer, the current policy on tickets is that Guests aged 10+ need to purchase the theme park ticket that aligns with their age. It's a little tricky in your situation since your child turns 10 during the middle of your trip. What I will say is that, at this time, Disney doesn't require children to carry ID in order to enter the parks. Guests are expected to adhere to these rules using an honor system.

    I'm sorry I can't be more specific than that, Jennifer. I wouldn't stress about this situation. Just enjoy your trip and have an amazing time celebrating your son's birthday.
