Planning 2nd visit 11/11-11/17. shows low crowds. Has this been your experience? Worried since it is close to Thanksgiving. What about weather/rain? 1st trip was 3rd wk 5/2010, heat was expected, crowds were more than expected.

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on planning your second visit to Walt Disney World Resort in November.

From my experience, crowds are not too busy in November, except during Thanksgiving week.

In 2012, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday November 22nd, which is the week after your visit,  so I think it should not be too busy while you are there, although nothing can be absolutely guaranteed.

The average high/low temperatures for November are 79/59, with an average rainfall of 2.3 inches.

I think it is a lovely time of the year to plan your visit.   By the first week of November, all of Walt Disney World Resort will be decorated for Christmas!  If you have any more questions about your trip, please come back and ask me.  I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
