We are planning a visit with a toddler and I was wondering if it's worth bringing my own stroller or if I should just rent one. What is the charge for rental?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Becky. I'm so glad you stopped by!

Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a toddler in tow always makes for lots of magical memories. Your heart is sure to melt when you see your little one experience the magic of the theme parks! Speaking of the theme parks, a stroller for your visit is an absolute must-have. As a mom of three, I count on my stroller as a place for my kids to rest their tired little legs and to store all our essentials for the day.

We prefer to bring our personal double stroller with us on our Disney vacations. We travel to Orlando from Pennsylvania, and I've found that having the stroller with us makes getting through the airport easier. It's also convenient to have on hand while traveling to and from the theme parks. My kids are always exhausted after a day of magical adventures, and at least one of them falls asleep in the stroller on the walk from the park exit to the bus stop!

If you choose to bring your own stroller, just be sure that it meets the size guidelines. Strollers must be no larger than 31" wide and 52" long to enter the theme parks.

Strollers are available to rent from each of the four theme parks and Disney Springs. A cost for a Single Stroller daily rental is currently $15. I recommend purchasing a Length-of-Stay Rental. When you pre-pay for the number of days you'll need the stroller, you save a bit of money! A Length-of-Stay Single Stroller rental is $13 per day. Please note that these prices are subject to change at any time.

Another option is to rent a stroller from one of Disney's Featured Providers like Magic Strollers, Orlando Stroller Rentals, or Kingdom Strollers. These Orlando-based rental companies will deliver a stroller right to your Disney Resort hotel! This option gives you the convenience of a rental, along with the flexibility to keep the stroller with you after leaving the theme parks.

I hope this was helpful, Becky. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
