Hi Karen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so lovely being able to help you plan your upcoming magical vacation! My family has made it our yearly tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so excited to hEAR that you'll be celebrating this holiday with Mickey next year, too!
I love visiting a theme park on Thanksgiving Day! I think it's wonderful celebrating holidays surrounded by families from all around the world! My best advice for you is if you're going to enjoy a theme park, arrive early in the day and plan to stay at that park for the entire day. If you plan on park hopping, there is a chance you'll arrive at a second theme park and that particular park might be closed due to reaching its capacity. If you'd like a more intimate Thanksgiving adventure, visiting multiple
Walt Disney World Resort hotels would be so much fun, too!
Mmm, you asked about one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World: eat! My favorite traditional Thanksgiving Day meal is at
Liberty Tree Tavern. It's typically a family style, all-you-care-to-enjoy, Patriot's Platter with all the fixings! (Please note, menus are always subject to change.) Just thinking about that delicious feast makes my mouth water!
Karen, I'm wishing you an upcoming year filled with moments to be thankful for! If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again!
