    Hi! We are planning to visit in Sept. 2009 with our 3 yr old daughter. We are staying at AKL. What would be a good time to schedule a character breakfast at the Crystal Palace. I have no idea when the park opens or how long it will take to get there.

    I would pick a non-Extra Magic Hour morning and book your meal for the first available seating around 8:00 a.m. My family enjoys starting our day at WDW with an early breakfast which situates us to take full advantage of early morning touring. Early morning equals low crowds!

    After enjoying your meal with Winnie the Pooh and his pals, you will be able to quickly reach Fantasyland. Fantasyland should be your first destination within the Magic Kingdom with a young child. Head to Dumbo first as long lines form early.

    The park opening time for the Magic Kingdom is usually 9:00 a.m. unless a morning Extra Magic Hour is scheduled. In that case, the park will open at 8:00 a.m. You will need to wait for September park hours to be released.

    I would recommend being at the bus stop one hour prior to your dining reservation time. Buses will run very early in order to accommodate guests heading to morning character meals.
