We are planning to visit on Sept 11-14 and I’m wondering about the themes during this time. Is the parades and nightly fireworks all the scream/Halloween theme? Or only the nights of the boogie parties?

Hello Stephanie and welcome to planDisney!  We're so glad you're here, I'm more than happy to help answer your question about Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, it's one of my favorite times of year!

Last year, the fall seasonal celebration kicked off on September 2, so most likely when you visit in September it will be spooky season around the "Happiest Place on Earth!"  I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, they will be the best place to learn about all of the fall festivities, entertainment, and foodie guides.

Oogie Boogie Bash does take place at Disney California Adventure Park, and in the past Stephanie, the Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular has taken place at Disneyland Park.  So even if you're not able or interested in attending Oogie Boogie Bash, there is still a ton of Halloween fun to be had at both theme parks!

There is fall fun outside of the theme parks as well at the Downtown Disney District.  You can participate in Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit where you will go on an adventure to find all of the beautifully decorated pumpkins and pick up a spooky keepsake!

I hope this information was helpful for your trip this Halloween season Stephanie, and please do not hesitate to come back to planDisney with any other questions.  I'm wishing you a frightfully fun trip in September!

    Have a magical day!
