    Hi Jennifer!
I am so happy you are visiting Walt Disney World in November! It is such a wonderful time of year and the weather is fantastic.  The crowds should be fairly low that time of the year as well.
You can certainly switch resorts during your stay.  The benefits are seeing a different resort and room and experiencing the different ambience at each resort.  With Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort has the advantage of the monorail to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  You certainly can have two separate dining plans with both reservations.  The downside to moving is that you have to pack up again.  Bell Services can take care of your luggage, but you will need to be in the room for them to deliver the luggage to your new resort room otherwise it will be at the front desk. My family and I have switched resorts and have found that it seems to shorten our trip a bit but also is fun for something new.   At this point, I do not know if the option of free dining will be extended to November.  I would call and ask when you book the reservations what the options are if free dining should be added after making your reservation.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
