Planning to visit 2 parks on 3/17- 3/18/20 with a 6 yo for his 1st vist. With the construction at Epcot and the opening of the Runaway Railway, please advise us on which 2 parks to pick. It may be a while before we can return.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim!

What a lucky boy! We are delighted to help you plan his first visit to the place Where Dreams Come True. There is so much for kids to see and do that your 2-day visit will be filled with fun and pixie dust. My daughter has been visiting the Walt Disney World Resort since she was 4-years-old, so I must recommend her current favorite theme parks, Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Magic Kingdom Park must be your first stop. This is the iconic park where you will find Cinderella Castle and classic attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. Every child I know absolutely loves this park because they can experience thrill rides, parades, shows, fireworks, and character meet and greet opportunities. My daughter is a thrill seeker and if he is just like her he will love Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Jungle Cruise is a fun attraction to enjoy as a family, as well as Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, where you can even compete to see who gets the highest score. The Haunted Mansion is also one of my family favorites and we never miss Peter Pan’s Flight.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios he will have the chance to feel like a toy and play in Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land. Toy Story Mania is another great attraction to have fun and experience as a family, and Slinky Dog Dash has become one of my daughter’s favorite attractions. In case you have a Star Wars fan traveling with you, he will enjoy visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, explore a galaxy far, far away on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, or even training to become a future Jedi on Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. I also recommend making reservations at my daughter's favorite restaurant: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Their milk shakes are amazing and dining inside vintage cars is a one of a kind experience.

I hope this helps you while planning, Kim! Don’t forget to stop by Guest Relations at any of the theme parks to pick up a complimentary First Visit button.

    Best magical wishes,
