Welcome back to planDisney, Jana! It’s always a pleasure to help you plan your next Disney adventure.
October is such a special time to visit Magic Kingdom. The fall decorations, cooler temps, and those cheerful Mickey pumpkin wreaths all around the park really bring the magic to life!
Just a heads-up, though, that the
Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is part of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which is a separately ticketed event. That means you’ll need a special party ticket in addition to your regular park admission if you’d like to see the parade. It only runs on party nights and floats through Main Street, U.S.A. as one of the event’s highlights.
In past when my family has visited during October, we've only purchased a ticket for the Halloween Party, not a regular theme park ticket. Guests who have a Halloween Party ticket have been able to enter
Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm and stay for the party, which gave us the best of both worlds! A little regular Magic Kingdom time followed by a spooktacular night at
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! If you’re thinking about attending the party or have questions about how it works, I’d be happy to walk you through the details!
Toodles,
Korliss
