Hello there, Joanie! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your very good question! October is my favorite month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The crowds have come down from their summertime highs and the temperatures have come down just a bit too! And, of course,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is in full swing with Halloween and fall décor throughout Magic Kingdom Park!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party requires a special ticket. Tickets for the party can be purchased on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. The event is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park. The party begins at 7:00 PM and concludes at midnight. But, a great perk of the party is that you can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM with your special party ticket!
Magic Kingdom Park closes early for regular day Guests on party nights. Guests without party tickets will be asked to leave the park if they don’t have a special party ticket. Throughout the party, Guest MagicBands or admittance tickets are scanned as they enter rides and attractions and walk the park. Guests with party tickets can remain in the park while other Guests will need to exit the park.
Guests are welcome to have both a regular theme park admission for the day and a party ticket for the night if they wish to attend the party. However, with party admission beginning at 4:00 PM and lasting through midnight, I have always found the party admission ticket allows for plenty of time to enjoy the park.
Joanie, my favorite part of the Halloween party is Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! The parade kicks off with the Headless Horseman making a frightfully fun ride along the parade route atop his loyal steed. This part of the parade is a “must-see!”
Dreams do come true!
