Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julianne!
A four-night stay at the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays sounds wonderful. Do you have room in your suitcase for a Disney Parks Moms Panelist?
There is nothing quite like the
holiday magic in the air during November and December. I’ve been lucky enough to be there the last three holiday seasons, and the lights, decorations, music, and holiday treats fill my heart with such joy. Each theme park and resort celebrates the holiday in its own signature style, and it’s so lovely to see everything from vintage holiday décor at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to celebrations around the world at Epcot. Can you tell I’m excited for you?
Julianne, the
fireworks take place at Magic Kingdom Park every night. On nights that
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled, party Guests will see
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. That show debuted this year, so I bet it will be back next year. I see you are traveling in early December 2020, so on non-party nights, Magic Kingdom Park’s fireworks should be Happily Ever After. The Christmas fireworks do show each night in Magic Kingdom once the final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has taken place; my advice is to check the
Park Hours a few months before your visit to see the schedule for fireworks and parades, as that’s all subject to change.
There are nightly fireworks at Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well. Disney’s Animal Kingdom doesn’t have fireworks for the safety of the animals, but they added some wonderful holiday entertainment this year and I’m really hoping it’s back for your visit next year.
One last thought: you can also enjoy the fireworks from spots outside Magic Kingdom Park. My favorite spot is from the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – they even pipe in the music!
I hope you and your family have so much festive fun next year, Julianne! As you continue to count down, dream, and plan, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news, and please come back and see us if you think of more questions.
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
