Planning to visit MK for the first time w/ toddlers on Tue. May 1 & it shows there is a Special Ticketed Event from 0745-0900. Does this mean it'll be busier than normal for a Tue? Am I better off going on Thur in hopes for a lighter crowd?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lien! You’ll love the real, tangible, magic that comes with taking a toddler to Walt Disney World Resort. My two little kids absolutely believe in wishes, magic, and pixie dust, especially when we step into Magic Kingdom Park!

The special ticketed event you’re seeing on 5/1 is called Early Morning Magic, which is a special pre-opening morning of fun in Fantasyland. It ends when the park opens to regular ticketed guests at 9 that day, so while there may be more folks around in the wee early hours of the morning, you can always check Undercover Tourist’s Crowd Calendar to see what the expected crowd level is on a scale of 1-10. It’s crazy accurate and I never plan a vacation without consulting it. I try to hit any given park’s Extra Magic Hours at the start of a morning and then park hop to another destination to avoid the crowds after the limited entry period is over, but it’s completely up to you!

If I can help you choose attractions based on your toddler’s interests or share more of the #DisneyKids preschool guide with you, please let me know. We’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
