Hiya Jennifer - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
I'm so excited to hEAR about your upcoming trip! You've picked a great time to visit.
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing with exciting new entertainment, attractions, food, and so much more! One of those new attractions is my new favorite -
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Make sure to experience it while you're at
EPCOT!
Your plan sounds like a great one! You will be able to take the
Monorail from EPCOT back to the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is where the Magic Kingdom parking is located. You also have the option of taking a
Minnie Van if you'd prefer not to wait for the Monorail and would like a private ride!
One thing I always think about when making these decisions is to contemplate how I'm going to be feeling at the end of the day. For me, I want to be back to my Resort and in bed as fast as possible. In your situation, you might want to consider moving your vehicle over to EPCOT once you leave Magic Kingdom Park for the day. It will take a little bit of time away from your park experience, but at the end of the evening, you'll just have a short walk to your vehicle as you leave EPCOT. If you're a registered Guest of a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, parking at the Theme Parks is complimentary, and if you've paid for parking at Magic Kingdom you won't have to pay again to park at EPCOT! Just some things to think about!
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your upcoming trip -
please let me know if I can help answer any additional questions!
