It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!
During
the phased re-opening process of Walt Disney World Resort, there have been some changes to the way we access attractions but I'm pleased to tell you that the
Rider Switch system is still in place. I know that it's been a little bit unclear because FastPass+ selections aren't available right now and that's the line that Rider Switch guests use, but the system is still set up and running for guests who want to split their parties into two so that someone is always around to watch little ones who aren't tall enough to ride.
If you want to use Rider Switch, just ask a Cast Member at the attraction's podium to set it up for you. It may look a little different than you remember from your last trip because of physical distancing measures, but the process will function in essentially the exact same way. The friendly Cast Members that greet you at the attraction you want to ride will have all the most up-to-date information about how they're managing Rider Switch and they will be more than happy to walk you through the process. That way, no one in your family has to miss out on your favorite attractions with
height requirements, and someone will always be around to watch the little Mouseketeers!
Have a magical day, Laura!
