    planning our 1st visit mid oct 2010 q is with reguards to resort pools and water parks. Is the weather warm enough to enjoy these?

    Hello KD!

    You will be happy to know that the month of October is still quite warm in Florida. Average high temperatures are in the mid 80s. All of the pools at Walt Disney World are heated as well.

    You may find that the weather cools down a bit in the evenings when the sun goes down, but during the day the weather should be just right for enjoying the fabulous pools and water parks offered at Disney.
