I am planning a visit in March this year. I am bringing my 2 grandchildren for the first time. I want to print a map of both California and Disneyland before I come to surprise my grandsons. Where can I go to print out one before I go?

    Hello there, Lisa!

What a magical grandmother you are! I love that you're preparing to surprise your grandchildren, I am sure they will be thrilled when you tell them they're going to visit "The Happiest Place on Earth" with you!

Because the maps of the theme parks on the Disneyland website are interactive, printing them doesn't work very well. However, I would love to share some of the other ways we have surprised our kids with a trip!

    • Travel bags filled with some of our favorite park snacks and gadgets, like portable hand-held fans for hot days.
    • A coloring activity like Disney Paper Parks where you can print, color, and create your own Disneyland rides!
    • Our kids adore using MagicBand+ in the parks, for everything from tapping into the park itself to searching for a bounty on Batuu. A MagicBand+ with their favorite character would be a great and useful surprise!
    • A Disney Gift Card is also a great way to say "We're going to Disneyland!" There are so many different designs available, and they come with a greeting card that you can personalize. I especially love this one celebrating 100 years of Disney!
Once you've surprised the luckiest grandkids ever you might enjoy watching Behind the Attraction together on Disney+ to see how some of the most classic Disneyland rides work! It's a favorite at our house!

You are going to have a completely amazing time, Lisa! Don't forget to purchase your park tickets, make park reservations, and grab a dining reservation or two! Feel free to send me a note if I can help you again!

    Keep moving forward!
